Assembly Committees Hold Joint Hearing on the Keep Your Home California Program

ALHAMBRA – Today, the Assembly Committee on Housing and Community Development and Assembly Committee on Banking and Finance held a joint-hearing to listen to representatives of the California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA), and other stakeholders on the status of the Keep Your Home California (KYHC) Program.

Assemblymember Chau Engages Community on Covered California

ROSEMEAD – On Saturday, October 26th, residents from throughout the San Gabriel Valley attended a town hall discussion led by Assemblymember Ed Chau (D-Monterey Park) on the implementation of Covered California, the state’s health care exchange created under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Hosted at The Garvey Center, in attendance were experts from AARP, AltaMed Health Services, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Chinatown Service Center, and Neighborhood Legal Services.
