Fong presented Friends of La Laguna an oversized check to restore the historic play structures at Vincent Lugo Park

SAN GABRIEL, CA – Today, California State Assemblymember Mike Fong presented a check for $200,000 in state funds to Friends of La Laguna, a nonprofit organization formed to preserve “dinosaur park” located within Vincent Lugo Park in San Gabriel. The funds will go towards restoring the iconic play structures originally built by artist Benjamin Dominguez.

SACRAMENTO – The California State Legislature has passed, with strong bipartisan support, AB 1811, AB 1958, AB 2003, AB 2158, and AB 2917, bills authored by Assemblymember Mike Fong (D-Alhambra). On August 26th, Governor Newsom signed AB 1811, a bill that requires local flood control districts to plan for climate change, into law.
